In today’s article, we’ll continue our top Pirates prospects. Today, we get into the top 30 prospects now with some huge risers up the board.
#30: OF Hudson Head
He has looked a lot better this year at the plate but injuries have kept him out for a bit this season. Let’s hope he gets back to full strength soon.
#29: OF Sammy Siani
Similar to Head, he has taken a while to adjust at the plate and he’s still finding his way. For both players they are young and the Pirates can afford to be patient with them.
#28: RHP Colin Selby
He has been hurt for the majority of the season but has finally come off the injured list recently. I see a MLB call up fairly soon for Selby.
#27: OF Jase Bowen
Bowen has been excellent the past two years. He can hit the ball well, he’s a great fielder, and he can be used all around the outfield and infield.
#26: RHP Braxton Ashcraft
The former 2nd round pick is bouncing back nicely off of Tommy John surgery and just recently was promoted to AA Altoona.
